That's not a hobby list. That's the road map of someone who understands both halves of the problem: the field work itself, and the software that could actually make it faster. Most companies never get both halves in one person — engineers who've never set foot on a job site, or tradespeople who can't build.
The ideal role
Field/Construction Technology Lead
Own the internal tools stack end to end: estimating, logistics, compliance, document intelligence, tied together instead of scattered across spreadsheets. I already do this work in the field. This role is the version with budget and authority behind it.
